David Merkin is a co-founder of MarylandBail.com.  He is also the managing member of the Rockville, Maryland Law Firm of the Merkin Law Group, LLC.  Mr. Merkin has been handling complex commercial litigation, criminal litigation and personal injury litigation in the Federal and State Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia for almost 20 years.  Mr. Merkin has previously been the managing partner of two law firms and has worked as litigation counsel for The Hartford Insurance Company and for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority.

Mr. Merkin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland at College Park  and his law degree from the University of Baltimore.  Mr. Merkin is formerly a member of the Board of Governors of the Maryland State Bar Association and is currently the Treasurer of the Committee to Retain the Sitting Judges of Montgomery County, Maryland.  Mr. Merkin has been selected by the publication Super Lawyers as among the top 5% of attorneys in the State of Maryland.

Mike Rothman is a co-founder of MarylandBail.com.  He is also the founder and principal of the Law Office of Michael S. Rothman located in Rockville, Maryland.  Mr. Rothman is a trial attorney licensed to practice in both Federal and State Courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia.  His practice is focused on criminal defense, as well as consumer protection litigation involving the Internet.

Mr. Rothman received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and his law degree from The University of Maryland School of Law.  He also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.  Mr. Rothman has been selected by the publication Super Lawyers as among the top 5% of attorneys in the State of Maryland.
